Locke Commercial Series Cylinder Mowers

It is incredible that the unique fully floating cutter head in the commercial cylinder mower range has been conceived and in production by Locke since 1928. This system is still unequalled for performance in this category. The floating head can be set up without a front roller to leave long grass undisturbed for maximum cutting efficiency or with a smooth or grooved front roller for additional floatation and contour cutting precision.

MODEL CL-125

Three widths of commercial series cylinder mowers complete the CL range. The Locke CL-125 is a 63.5 cm (25”) wide cylinder mower with 8 and 10 blade options plus the self adjusting v reel. The cutting unit is fully floating independent of the chassis unit. Dethatching and thinning units are interchangeable in minutes. These use conventional or carbide tipped Dyna Blades.

MODEL CL-130

The Locke CL-130 has a 76.2 cm (30”) cut cylinder mower with the same features and attachments as with the CL-125. All CL series mower base units can have a smooth or grooved rubber main drive split roller. The standard power unit is 5.5 HP Honda petrol engine with reduction gear box.

MODEL CL-136

The Locke CL-136 is the largest pedestrian cylinder mower in the series with a 91.4 CM (36”) cut. All the CL mowers have two conical smooth uptake clutches, one for the cutting head and one for the base unit ground drive. Base unit caster tail wheel makes them very manoeuvrable with unequalled balance and handling. Floating cutter head prevents scalp and follows the terrain with precision.

MODEL GT-126

The Locke GT-26 is a fine cut multi use machine with an independent traction unit which uses a two section roller positioned just ahead of the heavy duty differential positive drive roller. This enables the traction unit to stand alone allowing the floating head to follow the terrain with great precision. The standard power unit is a 5.5 HP Honda Petrol engine and cutter width is 66cm (26”). Verti-cutter, De-thatcher or Heavy Grooming heads are interchangeable in minutes.

CYLINDER MOWER ACCESSORIES

Quick change floating head units for mowing, thinning, verti cutting, or dethatching. Cutter heads are available with 5, 6. 7, 8 9,10 or 12 blade reels and up to 14 Micro cut cylinder for the GT machine. The patented self adjusting V reel available in 10 and 8 eliminates regular adjusting and stays sharp. Verti-cutter, de-thatcher and Heavy Groomer heads are interchangeable in minutes.

Head units can be set up with rear roller only or with front and rear. The front roller is available smooth or grooved. Roller Scraper attachments. Material/Grass catcher. A Sulky Seat rider attachment is available for the CL Series.
